5-22-10 TOYOTA Speedway Recap
Release Date: 5/24/2010

8 Races and a wild Night here at the Speedway.

Flips, Crashes and great finishes all in a packed night.

The Night started with the First of Two PEPSI Super Late Model Twins. Ryan Partridge scored his first Super Late Model victory, Justin Johnson and Ryan Reed round out the top 3.

Next up was the Jans Towing Bandoleros. A pile up in turn 4 that wadded up 3 cars kicked off the first of a few red flags during the night, but when the race was all said and done it was Trevor Huddleston taking the checkers by a hood over Ricky Schlick, Danny Nickolai rounds out the top 3.

Then it was Langers Juice S2 time. A hard crash involving Kendell Lopez and Bill Waters brought out Red flag #2. Both drivers Ok. "Showtime" Joe Anderson went on to win his first race at the Speedway, Dylan Lupton and Kendell Lopez round out your top 3.

Following that was the ECHO Equipment Legend Cars. A fierce battle within the top 3 through Lap Traffic sent leader Brent Scheidemantle on his lid after contact with a car he was lapping, which brought out Red Flag #3. Brent walked away... very angry. Darren Amidon, Chad Schug and Tony Green were your top 3.

Up next was PEPSI Super Late Model main event #2 of the evening. One of the biggest rivalries in this division is competitors Ryan Reed and Randel King. They were both duking it out once again and out of turn 4 Reed made contact with the wall resulting in a loss of steering and rode the wall into the Pit entrance Barrier. That was Red flag #4. The race was finished under caution with your top 3 being Justin Johnson, Ryan Partridge and Randel King.

Following that race was a somewhat clean Justice Brothers Mini Stock race. Daryl Scoggins cleaned house and won another Feature. Rod Schmitt and Richie Altmann battled it out for second and third.

Next up, DriveTech Late Models. Ted Stoneburner and Eric Darensburg battled hard over who was going to win. Stoneburner was the one with the win, Darensburg finished second and Don Kelley finished third.

And lastly was the ASA Truck Series 75 lap main event. These touring trucks put on an awesome show out here. Joey Licata Jr won, Taylor Cuzick second and Jimmy Putman finished third.
